🦐 Seafood Lasagna with Shrimp & Crab 🦀
A creamy, cheesy, and indulgent seafood lasagna—perfect for family dinners or special occasions!
👉Ingredients:
➡️ 12 lasagna noodles
➡️ 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
➡️ 1 lb lump crab meat
➡️ 2 cups ricotta cheese
➡️ 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
➡️ 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
➡️ 2 tablespoons butter
➡️ 2 tablespoons flour
➡️ 2 cups whole milk
➡️ 2 cloves garlic, minced
➡️ 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
➡️ 1 tablespoon lemon juice
➡️ Salt & pepper to taste
👉Instructions:
🔹 1️⃣ Prep the Noodles:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain and lay flat on parchment paper to prevent sticking.
🔹 2️⃣ Prepare the Seafood:
➡️ Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
➡️ Sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
➡️ Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes until pink.
➡️ Remove from heat, chop if desired, and mix with crab meat.
➡️ Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with parsley. Set aside.
🔹 3️⃣ Make the White Sauce:
➡️ Melt remaining butter in a saucepan.
➡️ Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
➡️ Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until thickened (5–7 minutes).
➡️ Season with salt & pepper.
🔹 4️⃣ Mix the Ricotta Filling:
➡️ In a bowl, combine ricotta, half of Parmesan, half of mozzarella, and chopped parsley.
➡️ Season with salt & pepper.
🔹 5️⃣ Assemble the Lasagna:
➡️ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
➡️ Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread a thin layer of white sauce.
➡️ Layer 3–4 noodles, ricotta mixture, seafood, some white sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
➡️ Repeat layers, finishing with noodles, remaining sauce, mozzarella, and top with remaining Parmesan.
🔹 6️⃣ Bake:
➡️ Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
➡️ Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
🔹 7️⃣ Serve:
➡️ Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
➡️ Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!
