Cheesy Bowtie Casserole

with Italian Ground Beef, Cheddar & Marinara


๐Ÿ“ Ingredients


๐Ÿ”น️12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta

๐Ÿ”น️1 lb ground beef

๐Ÿ”น️1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

๐Ÿ”น️8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

๐Ÿ”น️1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

๐Ÿ”น️½ tsp garlic powder

๐Ÿ”น️½ tsp onion powder

๐Ÿ”น️1 tsp Italian seasoning

๐Ÿ”น️¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

๐Ÿ”น️Salt & black pepper, to taste

๐Ÿ”น️1 tbsp olive oil

๐Ÿ”น️Optional: chopped parsley or basil, for garnish



๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝ‍๐Ÿณ Directions:

↪️1. Boil the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.


↪️2. Brown the Beef

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.


↪️3. Season It Up

Add garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.


↪️4. Add the Sauce

Pour in marinara sauce and simmer on low for 5–7 minutes to blend the flavors.


↪️5. Get Cheesy

Stir in Velveeta cubes until completely melted and creamy.


↪️6. Combine & Coat

Add the cooked pasta into the sauce and gently toss until evenly coated.


↪️7. Top & Melt

Sprinkle mozzarella over the top. Cover and let it melt for 2–3 minutes — or broil for a golden bubbly top.


↪️8. Garnish & Serve

Sprinkle with parsley or basil if desired, and serve hot and melty!
