CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN RECIPE ๐
Golden, juicy & perfectly seasoned!
✅️ Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
➡️ 1 whole chicken (cut up)
➡️ 2 cups buttermilk
➡️ 1 tsp salt
➡️ 1 tsp black pepper
➡️ 1 tsp paprika
For the Breading:
➡️ 2 cups all-purpose flour
➡️ 1 tsp salt
➡️ 1 tsp black pepper
➡️ 1 tsp garlic powder
➡️ 1 tsp onion powder
➡️ 1 tsp paprika
➡️ 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
For Frying:
➡️ Vegetable oil (for deep frying)
✅️ Instructions:
▶️ Step 1 – Marinate: Soak chicken in buttermilk + spices for at least 4 hrs or overnight.
▶️ Step 2 – Coat: Dredge chicken in seasoned flour, pressing well. (Optional: double-dip for extra crunch!)
▶️ Step 3 – Fry: Heat oil to 350°F / 175°C and fry in batches 12–15 mins until golden & crispy.
▶️ Step 4 – Drain & Serve: Rest on a rack or paper towels. Serve hot & enjoy!
