Slow Cooker Christmas Cake

๐ŸŽ„ 4-Ingredient Christmas Cake


Ingredients:

➡️ 300g (10.5 oz) mixed dried fruit

➡️ 250g (1 cup) butter, softened

➡️ 250g (1 cup) brown sugar

➡️ 4 large eggs


Optional: 1 tsp cinnamon or mixed spice for extra flavor

1. ๐Ÿ”น️ Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F) or set your slow cooker on low.


2. ๐Ÿ”น️ In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.


3. ๐Ÿ”น️ Beat in the eggs one at a time.


4. ๐Ÿ”น️ Fold in the mixed dried fruit (and optional spices if using).


5. ๐Ÿ”น️ Pour the mixture into a greased cake tin that fits your slow cooker or oven.


6. ๐Ÿ”น️ Bake in the oven for 1.5–2 hours, or in the slow cooker on low all day (about 6–8 hours).


7. ๐Ÿ”น️ Check the cake is done by inserting a skewer in the center – it should come out clean.
