Fried Cabbage with Bacon



🥬 Fried Cabbage with Bacon, Onion & Garlic 🥓

👉Ingredients:

↪️6 slices of bacon

↪️1 large onion, diced

↪️2 garlic cloves, minced

↪️1 large head of cabbage, cored and sliced

↪️1 tbsp salt

↪️1 tsp black pepper

↪️½ tsp onion powder

↪️½ tsp garlic powder

↪️⅛ tsp paprika

↪️⅓ cup water


👉Instructions:

1️⃣ In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan, crumble it into pieces, and set it aside. Leave the bacon grease in the pan.


2️⃣ Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the bacon grease. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the onion becomes soft and fragrant.


3️⃣ Stir in the sliced cabbage. Mix well to coat it in the flavors. Cover the pan partially and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.


4️⃣ Add the crumbled bacon back to the pan, along with the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Pour in ⅓ cup of water, stir everything together, and continue cooking until the cabbage is tender to your liking.
