π₯£ Hearty & Tender Slow Cooker Beef Stew

π Ingredients:
◾️ 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into chunks
◾️ 4 cups beef broth
◾️ 4 medium potatoes, peeled & diced
◾️ 3 carrots, peeled & sliced
◾️ 2 celery stalks, chopped
◾️ 1 onion, chopped
◾️ 3 cloves garlic, minced
◾️ 1 cup frozen peas
◾️ 1 tsp dried thyme
◾️ 1 tsp dried rosemary
◾️ 1 bay leaf
◾️ Salt & pepper, to taste
◾️ 2 tbsp olive oil (for browning)
◾️ 2 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)
π¨π³ Instructions:
✅️1. Brown the beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear beef until browned on all sides (5–7 minutes). Transfer to slow cooker.
✅️2. Build the base: Add beef broth, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, salt & pepper. Stir everything together.
✅️3. Let it cook:
• On LOW: 7–8 hours
• On HIGH: 4–5 hours
Until beef is fork-tender and veggies are cooked through.
✅️4. Final touches:
• 30 minutes before serving, stir in frozen peas.
• (Optional) For thicker stew, mix flour with a splash of water and stir into the stew during the last 30 minutes.
