🥢 Chicken Bell Pepper Stir Fry


👉Ingredients:

◾️1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast — thinly sliced

◾️2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)

◾️1 red bell pepper — sliced

◾️1 green bell pepper — sliced

◾️1 onion — sliced

◾️2 cloves garlic — minced

◾️1 tsp ginger — minced (optional)

◾️2 tbsp soy sauce

◾️1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

◾️1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

◾️Salt & pepper — to taste

◾️Cooked rice or noodles — for serving


👉Instructions:

➡️1. Prep: Slice chicken, bell peppers, and onion. Mince garlic and ginger (if using).


➡️2. Cook Chicken: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry 5–7 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.


➡️3. Stir-Fry Veggies: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp oil. Add onion, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.


➡️4. Combine: Return chicken to the skillet. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce; toss to coat. If using, add the cornstarch slurry to thicken.


➡️5. Season: Taste and adjust with salt and pepper.


➡️6. Serve: Serve hot over rice or noodles.



👉Tips:

🔹️Swap chicken for beef, shrimp, or tofu for variety.

🔹️Add extra veggies like broccoli, snap peas, or carrots for more color and crunch.

🔹️A sprinkle of sesame seeds or green onions on top adds a nice finish.
