Crockpot French Onion Meatloaf with Melted Swiss Cheese

◾️This cozy, flavor-packed meatloaf is slow-cooked to perfection, topped with sweet caramelized onions and gooey Swiss cheese. It’s comfort food made easy!

👉Ingredients:

↪️2 lbs ground beef

↪️1 cup breadcrumbs

↪️1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

↪️1/4 cup milk

↪️2 eggs

↪️1 tsp salt

↪️1/2 tsp black pepper

↪️2 large onions, thinly sliced

↪️2 tbsp butter

↪️1 cup beef broth

↪️8 slices Swiss cheese

👉Instructions:

✅️1. Mix the Meatloaf: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully blended.

✅️2. Shape and Place: Form the mixture into a loaf and place it into your crockpot.

✅️3. Caramelize the Onions: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring often, until they’re soft and golden—about 20–25 minutes.

✅️4. Add Broth: Pour the beef broth into the skillet with the onions and cook until mostly absorbed. Then, spoon the mixture over the meatloaf.

✅️5. Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours, until the meatloaf is fully cooked.

✅️6. Melt the Cheese: About 10 minutes before serving, top the meatloaf with Swiss cheese slices. Cover again until melted.

✅️7. Serve and Enjoy: Slice, serve warm, and enjoy every bite!

◾️Perfect for weeknights or weekend comfort meals. Let me know if you give it a try.
