👉Ingredients:
1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cut into small chunks
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 packet onion soup mix
½ cup beef broth
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp flour (for thickening)
8 oz egg noodles, cooked
👉Instructions:
▶️1. Sear the Beef:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef for about 5 minutes until browned.
▶️2. Load the Crockpot:
Transfer the beef to the crockpot. Add onion, garlic, mushroom soup, onion soup mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
▶️3. Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
▶️4. Thicken the Sauce:
Mix the flour with a little cold water, then stir it into the crockpot 30 minutes before serving to thicken the sauce.
▶️5. Cook Noodles:
Prepare egg noodles according to package instructions.
▶️6. Serve:
Spoon the beef and gravy over the cooked noodles and enjoy!
👉Tips for Best Results:
✅️1. Don’t skip searing the beef – it adds extra flavor and helps lock in juices.
✅️2. Use low-sodium broth and soup to control saltiness, especially with the onion soup mix.
✅️3. Add sour cream or cream cheese (2–3 tbsp) at the end for a creamier texture if you like it richer.
