🛒 Ingredients:

✅️ For the Beef:

◾️2 lbs beef chuck roast

◾️1 tbsp olive oil

◾️1 medium onion, diced

◾️4 garlic cloves, minced

◾️2 tsp ground cumin

◾️2 tsp smoked paprika

◾️1 tsp chili powder

◾️½ tsp salt

◾️¼ tsp black pepper

◾️1 jalapeño, minced (optional)

◾️1 cup beef broth

◾️1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

◾️1 tbsp lime juice


✅️ For Serving:

🔹️Corn tortillas

🔹️Fresh cilantro

🔹️Lime wedges

🔹️Diced tomatoes

🔹️Sliced avocado


▶️ Instructions

✅️1. Sear the Beef

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear beef on all sides (4–5 mins per side) until browned. Set aside.



✅️2.  Sauté Aromatics

In the same skillet, add diced onion. Cook 3–4 mins until translucent. Stir in garlic and cook 1 more minute.


✅️3.  Add Spices

Add cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, pepper, and jalapeño. Stir 1 minute to bloom the spices.


✅️4.  Deglaze & Simmer

Pour in beef broth, apple cider vinegar, and lime juice. Bring to a simmer.


✅️5.  Slow Cook

Return the beef to the skillet. Cover and simmer on low for 3–4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.


✅️6.  Shred the Beef

Remove the beef and let rest 5 mins. Shred with two forks.


✅️7.  Finish the Filling

Return shredded beef to the skillet and stir into the juices. Let cook another 10 mins to soak up flavor.


✅️8.  Warm the Tortillas

Toast tortillas in a dry skillet, 30 seconds per side.


✅️9.  Assemble the Tacos

Fill tortillas with beef. Top with tomatoes, avocado, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
