🍷 Fall-Off-The-Bone Baked Lamb Shanks 🤤🔥
Slow-baked in a rich, herby tomato broth until the meat melts in your mouth. Pure comfort food perfection! 🥩💯
👉Ingredients:
◾️2 lamb shanks
◾️2 tbsp olive oil
◾️1 onion, chopped
◾️4 cloves garlic, minced
◾️2 carrots, chopped
◾️2 celery stalks, chopped
◾️2 cups beef broth
◾️1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
◾️2 tbsp tomato paste
◾️2 sprigs fresh rosemary
◾️2 sprigs fresh thyme
◾️Salt & pepper to taste
👉Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
2️⃣ Pat lamb shanks dry, season with salt & pepper.
3️⃣ Heat olive oil in an oven-safe pot. Sear lamb shanks 5 min per side, then remove.
4️⃣ Add onion, garlic, carrots & celery to pot. Sauté 5–7 min.
5️⃣ Stir in tomato paste, cook 2 min.
6️⃣ Add beef broth & diced tomatoes, scraping up browned bits. Add rosemary & thyme.
7️⃣ Return lamb shanks to pot, cover, and bake 2.5–3 hrs until tender.
8️⃣ Remove herbs, season sauce to taste, and serve hot!
