🔹 1 ½ lbs (680g) beef stew meat or sirloin steak, cut bite-sized
🔹 Salt & pepper, to taste
🔹 1 tbsp olive oil
🔹 4 large potatoes, peeled & diced
🔹 1 onion, diced
🔹 2 garlic cloves, minced
🔹 1 cup beef broth
🔹 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
🔹 1 tsp dried thyme
🔹 1 tsp paprika
🔹 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
🔹 Fresh parsley or thyme (garnish)
👉 Directions:
1️⃣ Sear the Steak (optional but tasty): Heat oil in a skillet, season beef with salt & pepper, and brown on all sides (3–4 mins). Transfer to slow cooker.
2️⃣ Assemble: Add potatoes, onion, garlic, broth, Worcestershire, thyme & paprika. Stir well.
3️⃣ Cook: Cover and cook on low 6–7 hrs or high 3–4 hrs until beef is tender and potatoes soft.
