π₯©π§ Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes π½️✨
Simple, hearty, and oh-so satisfying!
This one-pan meal is packed with flavor and perfect for a cozy dinner at home.
⏱ Prep Time: 10 minutes
π₯ Cook Time: 30 minutes
π½ Serves: 3–4
π Ingredients:
• 1 lb sirloin steak (1 inch thick)
• 2 lbs small red potatoes, halved
• 4 tbsp butter
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
• 1 tsp dried thyme
• Salt & pepper to taste
π¨π³ How to Make It:
1️⃣ Roast the Potatoes
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss potatoes with 2 tbsp melted butter, salt, and pepper.
Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak
While potatoes roast, season steak with salt, pepper, and thyme.
Heat 2 tbsp butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
3️⃣ Finish in the Oven (Optional)
For more even cooking, place the skillet with steak in the oven for 5–7 minutes during the last part of potato roasting.
4️⃣ Make Garlic Butter Sauce
Remove steak and let it rest 5 minutes.
Stir minced garlic into the pan drippings and cook for 30 seconds — that’s your garlic butter sauce!
5️⃣ Serve
Slice steak against the grain. Drizzle garlic butter sauce over the top.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with the crispy potatoes.
π‘ Quick Tips:
✔️ Rest the steak before slicing to keep it juicy.
✔️ Add a splash of Worcestershire or red pepper flakes for a flavor boost.
✔️ Swap steak with pork chops or chicken if you like — works great too!
❤️ Enjoy every bite!
